Have a Say: Edmonds Seeks Citizens for Economic Development Commission

Application deadline is Dec. 12.

The City Council is seeking applicants interested in serving on the City of Edmonds' Economic Development Commission.

The purpose of the commission is to address specific issues related to economic development and is responsible for helping identify new sources of revenue as a direct result of economic development projects; new strategies for economic development; and to provide recommendations regarding strategies for economic development and other matters that will improve commercial viability, tourist development and activity for consideration by the Edmonds City Council.

In addition to its other duties, the commission will work in conjunction with the Planning Board to review and consider economic development strategies. Meetings of the commission are held on the third Wednesday evening of each month.
