Police ID Foot Found On Jetty Island Last Month: Sheriff
The foot found on Jetty Island Jan. 2 reportedly belonged to Antonio Neill, who was reported missing in December 2016.

EVERETT, WA - The human foot that washed ashore on Jetty Island Jan. 2 reportedly belonged to a man who's been missing since 2016. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner recently identified the foot's previous owner as 22-year-old Antonio Neill.
Neill's family reported him missing in December 2016. Whether the foot had been in the water since then is unclear, though Everett police officials previously said the boot in which the foot was found may have been submerged "for some time." The Medical Examiner has not yet released an official cause or manner of death.
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit will continue to investigate Neill's disappearance and subsequent death, which will include searching the area where Neill's foot washed ashore.

It appears Neill's foot may be the 15th found around the Puget Sound in the past 10 years.
The 14th human foot to wash ashore in Vancouver over the past decade was recorded this past May. At the time, authorities said they'd identified the owners of nine of the 14 feet that had been found.
