Teen Shot In Lynnwood: Police

A 17-year-old boy was shot during a robbery attempt in Lynnwood Monday night. No suspects have been arrested at this time.

LYNNWOOD, WA - A 17-year-old boy was shot during a robbery attempt in Lynnwood Monday night, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said the teen's injury was non-life-threatening.

Snohomish County deputies were dispatched to a parking lot in the 3300-block of 204th Street Southwest around 7 p.m. Jan. 28 following a reported robbery. At the scene deputies learned a teen boy was walking through a parking lot when he was confronted by multiple suspects, all men.

The men reportedly tried to rob the boy and fired off several rounds in the process, hitting the teen at least once. After the shooting the suspects fled the area. The teen was later taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

SnoCo deputies used a K9 team in an effort to track the suspects but were ultimately unable to locate anyone involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
