1 Killed In I-5 Semi-Truck Crash
A driver has died after a semi collided with a barrier on northbound I-5 in Tacoma early Tuesday.

TACOMA, WA — A semi truck driver has died Tuesday, killed when their vehicle slammed into a concrete barrier on northbound I-5 in Tacoma.
Washington State Patrol first reported the accident around 3:20 a.m., saying that the semi crash had blocked three lanes of I-5, as well as the off ramp to Portland Avenue.

Lanes were closed for several hours as the City of Tacoma, Washington State Department of Transportation, and Tacoma Fire firefighters cleared the wreckage from the roadway. The roadway was fully reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
