$1,000 Reward Offered in Spanaway Armed Robbery

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives is asking the public for help identifying the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at a Spanaway convenience store.
At 9:35 p.m. on Monday, March 18th, 2013, the pictured suspect robbed the Pick & Go Grocery, located in the 100 block of Military Road South in Spanaway.
According to authorities, the suspect loitered outside of the business for approximately 10 minutes before walking inside the store and displaying a gun.

The suspect demanded cash from the clerk, grabbed the money and ran out of the store.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a slender build.
During the robbery he was seen wearing a black hooded Nike sweatshirt, a plaid fleece cap with ear flaps, black athletic pants with three white stripes sides, and a black piece of fabric over his lower face.
The Crime Stoppers Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the suspect.
