Artillery Training Scheduled This Week At JBLM

The training will involve 155mm Howitzers firing day, evening, and night time hours for three days this week.

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, WA — An artillery unit at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on Tuesday will begin an afternoon/night time Howitzer training exercise. Residents in the area would be advised to anticipate noise.

The training will reportedly involve 155mm Howitzers firing day, evening, and night hours, with activity beginning at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 13 and continuing through 5 p.m. Nov. 15, military officials said.
