Santa Claus is coming to Lakewood! All Lakewood residents are invited to the 16th annual holiday
festival Friday, Dec.2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main Street in Lakewood.
The festival includes a Kiddie Parade, the Lakewood Christmas tree lighting, free children’s crafts, holiday music, refreshments and a visit with Santa.
Children and those young at heart are invited to march in the Kiddie Parade and follow Santa to town. This is a great opportunity for day care centers, youth groups and scout troops to kick off the holiday season. Meet near the old GI Joe’s Building (5831 Main Street SW) at 4:15pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Emergency Food Network.
