To bring customers improved service, Lakewood Pierce County Library, located at 6300 Wildaire Road S.W., will be closed Monday, Aug. 22 – Monday, Sept. 5. Â
During the closure workers will replace a very old heating and cooling HVAC system, install a new boiler, and put a new power supply in an elevator. The new HVAC system will improve hot and cold spots throughout the library and the new boiler will run more efficiently and save money on the Library System’s energy bill. Â
While Lakewood Library is closed, people may pick up books or other items they place on hold, in the library’s backroom at the following times: Â
