Kiwanis’ Community Garden and Food Bank Plots Begin Second Year

Blogger Paul Candler writes, "Members of the Kiwanis Club of Clover Park began planting a variety of vegetable starts, and the food bank raised garden plots at the Lakewood Community Garden."

"Last year 1,100 pounds of fresh vegetables raised at the food bank plots were donated to the Lakewood FISH Food Bank. The goal for this year is to increase the amount donated to 1,500 pounds."
