UPDATE: Extended Day at Lakewood Farmers Market Today

Unlike weeks before, the market runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Lakewood City Hall.

I just got an e-mail from the City of Lakewood, who reminded us that today is the extended day of the Lakewood Farmers Market, which means it will run to 7 p.m., tonight.

From Mary Dodsworth:

"We’ll be running the Lakewood’s Farmers Market from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. We want to reach all those working folks who can’t get here during the week."

"Come see our new vendors, we have music all day, a canning demonstration and fun things for kids to do. Our next extended day is Tuesday, Sept 10."

So you can stop by today's market in the afternoon or evening, whichever works best for you.

It's Tuesday, which in the summer means the Lakewood Farmers Market.

As in weeks before, the market runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at City Hall, the market features fresh food, arts, crafts and entertainment.

Word is the market has been building up every week with visitors. You might want to see for yourself.
