Editor's note: The following is an update on today's Steilacoom Farmers Market, which is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the corner of Lafayette and Wilkes Streets. It comes from Annie Lane:

We’re on notice that the sheep are drying up. So pick up your yogurt & cheeses from Black Sheep Creamery while supplies last! Mark Loveless Pottery joins us once again. We welcome Dupont Chiropractic Center and Lee Family Nursery School, a non-profit child care, as they participate for the very first time.

Steilacoom Community Center is featured at our Community Corner. Youth programs such as Club AM/PM, Junior Explorers, etc., adult classes, senior programs, community services and rentals for your special events. From 6-7, experience Don Yoder’s Ukulele class and Tati’s Polynesian Dance for all ages. There’s something for everybody; volunteer, as well as, job opportunities.

Get swept away by Joey Jewel & the Swinging Orchestra, reminiscent of Frank Sinatra in the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas without leaving Pioneer Park. That gets underway at 6:30 p.m.!
