1 Critically Injured After Late Night Shooting In Tacoma

A car dropped the victim at a local hospital and fled, according to police.

TACOMA, WA β€” A man is in the hospital receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries after a shooting Tuesday night in Tacoma.

Officers first received a call of shots fired in the 4800 block of S Sheridan just after 9 p.m., Tacoma Police said.

However, by the time officers arrived, everyone involved in the shooting was long gone, including the victim.

About 4 minutes after dispatchers received their 911 call, a vehicle pulled up at a local hospital, dropped off an adult man with gunshot wounds, and quickly fled the scene. The man is currently receiving emergency medical treatment.

Little else about the shooting has been publicly released. Tacoma Police say they are still investigating the incident.
