2 Killed In Late Night Tacoma Shootings
The Tacoma Police Department is investigating after two separate deadly shootings late Sunday night.
TACOMA, WA β The Tacoma Police Department is investigating after a pair of deadly shootings late Sunday night.
According to police, the first happened around 9 p.m. in the 9100 block of S Alaska St.
Officers say that, by the time they arrived on scene, they found a victim lying unresponsive on the ground. Officers attempted CPR before the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The second shooting happened just hours later, at around 12:24 a.m. That's when South Sound 911 received several calls of shots fired in the 1800 block of S. 93rd St.
As with the first shooting, officers arrived to find the victim unresponsive in a nearby parking. He was declared dead shortly afterwards.

Both incidents are being investigated as homicides. It is unclear if the two events were related, and no suspect information has been released.
