Cosplay is the Japanese term short for "costume play".  Twinfools and Nova VandorWolfare two of the better known cosplayers and have made costumes for characters from shows that include Naruto, Ride, of the Guardians, Bleach, and DeathNote.  They'll be leading this Cosplay 101 program, giving you tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your cosplay experience.

This event is offered as part of the Teen Summer Reading Program (ages 12 - 19) and is sponsored by the Friends of the Puyallup Public Library.

Join us this Thursday at Pioneer Park for a concert featuring the Dueling Pianos performing popular sing-a-long hits and is brought to you by Marine View Beverages – Sumner.

After Dueling Pianos, the ever popular Coats will be performing a capella and is brought to you by T.E. Walrath Trucking Inc.

Sand Castle Art at the Library

3 p.m.

Kids ages 6-12 will uncover the secrets of sand castles with local art teacher, Kim Zeirger.  They'll learn how to draw a textured sand castle, complete with towers, turrets, moat, and drawbridge. Once the design is complete they’ll get a chance to build their vision using different colors of sand. Come and see if you can guess the secret ingredient that adds texture!
