Ashford Man Injured In Single-Car Crash Tuesday: WSP
A 34-year-old man was hurt when he crossed SR-7 and struck a guardrail around 1:30 a.m. April 9 near the northeast side of Alder Lake.
ALDER, WA - One man was injured in a one-car crash along State Route 7 early Tuesday, according to Washington State Patrol. No charges have been filed at this time, though police are investigating a cause.
WSP officials said 34-year-old Ashford resident Jay C. Iverson was traveling north on SR-7 when just after 1:30 a.m. April 9 his black 2005 Ford F-250 pickup crossed into the southbound lane near Sunny Beach Point and Alder Cutoff Road East and struck the opposite side guardrail on the driver's side.
Hitting the guardrail, Iverson was reportedly ejected from the Ford. He was later taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WSP officials said.

Investigators have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
