Body Discovered In Trunk At Graham Auto Yard

GRAHAM, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a corpse was found in the trunk of a vehicle at a Graham auto yard Tuesday.

According to Pierce County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Darren Moss, deputies had been investigating a case which brought them to an auto yard in the 21400 block of Meridian Ave E, when they discovered the body inside the trunk of one of the vehicles there.

Detectives and forensic officers have been called to investigate, but as of 12:30 p.m., are still waiting on a search warrant before they can gather more information from the vehicle. As a result, the gender and identify of the victim are still unknown.

Little else about the case has been released, but Moss has promised to provide future updates as the investigation progresses.
