Construction Begins at South Hill Sewer and Maintenance Facility
Have you seen construction work on 94th Ave. E. in South Hill? Crews are building a new sewer and maintenance facility for Pierce County.
Wonder what all the construction is about at the old gravel pit on 94th Ave. East?
It's the beginning of a new public works facility, which will encompass 125,000 acres on South Hill. It will house the Sewer Maintenance and Operations and Traffic Maintenance and Operations Staff and equipment for Pierce County.
The new facility will provide better service at a more central location, say county officials.
