Couple Charged with Stealing $10,000 in Drugs from Good Samaritan Hospital
A couple who attempted to steal over $10,000 worth of drugs from a crash cart at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup have plead not guilty in Pierce County court.

A couple arrested for attempting to steal $10,000 worth of drugs from Good Samaritan Hospital on April 15, 2013 pleaded not guilty to first degree theft in Pierce County court this week.
According to charging papers, Faith Foster, 24, was spotted rummaging through a βcrash cartβ by hospital staff. Some of the items on the cart would be fatal if injected. Puyallup Police and hospital staff contacted Foster, who was visiting a family member in one of the rooms. She said that all she took was a needle kit and pair of shears and the rest she threw in a trash can. Officers checked the trash can but found nothing.
Puyallup Police also contacted Fosterβs boyfriend, 27 year-old Michael Lubbers. Lubbers was found lying on a bench in the hospital. A bag with the word βdopamineβ across it fell out of his pocket while he searched for his identification. Luppers told police Foster gave him the drugs. A black box next to him included items commonly used to smoke and cook narcotics, plus 16 types of drugs belonging to the hospital, equaling over $10,000.
