A property dispute outside the Indian Country Store on River Road sent tempers flaring and pepper spray flying on Weds., May 29, 2013.
According to the Puyallup Police report, units responded to a fight involving 10 people outside the smoke shop, where a beer bottle had been thrown.
After all the interviews were completed, officers determined that an argument over property lines between two people got heated. One sprayed pepper spray into the air, which caught the wind and hit a group of people some distance away. Another subject pulled a pistol out of his pocket and held it at his side to "protect" himself, police stated.Β
An information report was forwarded to the Pierce County Prosecutor for review.
