Fire Marshall Investigating Blaze In Abandoned Puyallup Home
Firefighters are investigating after an abandoned building caught fire late Sunday night.

PUYALLUP, WA β The Pierce County Fire Marshall has been called to investigate a fire that destroyed an abandoned home in southern Puyallup late Sunday.
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue says their crews were dispatched to contain a blaze in the 13900 block of Meridian sometime before 8:45 p.m. Sunday.
Upon determining that the home was abandoned, crews initially fought the fire defensively from the outside, but switched to an offensive attack, ultimately bringing it under control before 9 p.m.

The total cost of the damages is unknown. No injuries have been reported.
