Frost Advisory Issued for Pierce County
It's a beautiful day, but temperatures are expected to dip to below freezing temperatures overnight.
From the Pierce County ALERT System:
The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory from 11:00 pm Tuesday, April 30, 2013 until 8:00 am Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Lows tonight will range from the mid 20s to low 30s over southern interior areas, including Tacoma. Below freezing temperatures are likely to persist for several hours overnight. Temperatures will rapidly rise above freezing Wednesday morning after the sun comes up. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Some roads could become slippery. Pierce County Duty Officer is monitoring.
