Girl Camp Highlights Beauty, Etiquette for Back-to-School

Does your Puyallup teen need some extra support before the beginning of the school year?

The City of Puyallup Parks and Recreation Department is hosting "It's a Girl Thing" Camp, open to girls ages 12-15 (grades 6 through 9). 

This camp helps prep girls head back to school with tutorials on hair, makeup, nails and working on self confidence and inner beauty. Girls will also learn how to walk with poise and gain skills in basic etiquette, discuss how to deal with stress at school, gossip and peer pressure.

On the last day, they will take a field trip to the Tacoma Mall and pick out a stylish shirt and accessories to wear back to school. 

Fee includes the field trip at the end of the week and your purchase at the Mall. Each camper will have a $30 to spend.

When: Mon-Fri, Aug 26-30, 9:00am-12:00pm (extended day on Friday 9:00am-2:00pm)
