What accomplishments brought you to the Daffodil Festival?I have always loved serving the community. I've been a part of various volunteer clubs and activities because I get so much joy out of serving. I often found myself seeking more opportunities in which I could volunteer, which is really what led me to the Daffodil Festival. My overall goal is to inspire those around me, and the Daffodil Festival will allow me to meet plenty of new people and impact their lives in a positive way. There is no greater pleasure than creating a smile on another's face.

What are your future plans?Β After graduating from Puyallup High School, I will attend the University of Washington to study and major in EnglishΒ LanguageΒ and Literature and minor in Communications to one day become a novelist and motivational public speaker.

Who is someone you admire?Β I find great inspiration through books and music, therefore I truly admire Victor Hugo for his writing, beautiful tales that are now classics. I also look up to Cameron Mackintosh for his efforts in music andΒ theater, a producer of fine plays that everyone can relate to. J.K. RowlingΒ has had a grand influence on my life as well. She is so creative and inspired the world through her words. That is my biggest dream.

In 10 years, I will be… In 10 years, I plan to be graduated from the University of Washington and pursuing a career in the English field, preferably writing novels. I would really enjoy owning and running a bakery on the side. Baking is one of my many passions. I hope to continue playing my clarinet in community theaters and staying involved in the community, volunteering any spare time I have in order to make lives better for others.

One of my hidden talents is… Every year I have an odd-ball goal to learn. A few years ago I taught myself how to juggle, this year I'm teaching myself how to play theΒ accordion.
