UPDATE 8:45am:
The suspect has been taken into custody by the Pierce County Sheriff and will face a number of charges, Puyallup PD Capt. Scott Engle told Patch.
This morning, Sheriff's deputies were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle and tracked the subject to S. 9th St., where he hit a parked truck. The suspect ran down an alleyway and was located in a residence near S. 9th St. and Pioneer, where he was taken into custody.

Puyallup High School, Maplewood and Meeker Elementary schools are all on lockdown this morning while police search for a suspect in the area.
Puyallup PD tweeted that a suspect fled on foot after a vehicle pursuit in the area.
