District Court offices at the County City Building, including the Probation Division, will be open during normal business hours. The Court Resource Center will be open during normal business hours for virtual service connections. No walk-in service is being provided at this time. If you are unable to make it to court or your probation appointment, or you will be delayed, please review the bulleted list for further clarification:

EMPLOYEES ONLY: District Court employees are to check the message on the District Court employee information line for inclement weather updates. Staff are encouraged to report to work at their scheduled time if it is safe to do so, even when there is a two-hour grace period from the Executiveβs Office.Β
Pierce County District Court is the second largest District Court in the State of Washington and is proud to serve the citizens and visitors of Pierce County. The court is staffed with eight Judges and 103 court and probation employees. There are two sites where court activities are held: the County-City Building at 930 Tacoma Ave S., Tacoma, and the Court Resource Center at 925 Tacoma Ave S., Tacoma.
