Pierce County Libraries Closed, Gov't Offices Open Monday
All libraries in the Pierce County Library System are closed Monday due to weather. Superior Court and other government offices are open.

TACOMA, WA - The Pierce County Library System is closed throughout the region Monday due to continued snowfall, which as of Monday morning had seen accumulations around 5 inches in most areas.
Pierce County's government offices opened at the regular times, but non-essential employees were allowed to come in to work on a two-hour delay.
Superior Court hearings were also put on a delayed start, with court opening at 11 a.m. All afternoon dockets at Superior Court will remain as previously scheduled.
