Puyallup Launches New Online Permitting System
The program, called CityView, aims to streamline local permitting processes.
PUYALLUP, WA β The City of Puyallup has launched a new online permitting system, which organizers hope will make permitting faster and more transparent for city residents.
The program, called CityView, allows Puyallup residents to check the status of their permit applications, review messages from Development & Permitting Services, and pay for permits online.
"The software allows City Planners to perform their duties more efficiently through one platform," the city explains. "Using the platform, staff can review documents, track projects, manage code compliance, and track inspections all with just a few clicks."

Permits managed by CityView include planning permits, fire permits, engineer permits, and building permits. Users can also submit code enforcement complaints, search for property information and miscellaneous fees.
CityView officially launched Monday, but is still in the relatively early stages. While all of its features are functional, the city says it hopes to launch tutorials to help residents register sometime in early 2022. In the meantime, residents can learn more about the program or access its features by visiting the City of Puyallup's website.
