Today: Racing Star Mario Andretti to Attend Firestone Grand Opening in Puyallup

Racing legend Mario Andretti will be in Puyallup to help celebrate the grand opening of a new Firestone Complete Auto Care store on Friday, July 26. 

As a longtime test driver for Firestone, Andretti helped develop the racing tire that led to many of his most notable achievements: victories in the Indianapolis 500 and Daytona 500, three Champ Car National Championships and the F1 World Championship. Andretti’s partnership with the Firestone brand spans four decades.

Andretti will be on site to greet fans and sign autographs starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 26. The Firestone ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mario Andretti, Manager CJ Hicks, Seattle District Manager Len Lebman and Dick Clark, BSRO Vice-President begins at 11:30. Lunch and refreshments will be served at noon.
