Sterino Farms will open a new, expanded produce market on May 1, 2013 at 6116 52nd Street East in Puyallup.
"Jack is back!"
That's what fans of Sterino Farms are saying today, as they anticipate tomorrow's grand opening of the new Puyallup location at 6116 52nd Street East.
Sterino Farms began in the 1920s as a raspberry farm in Fife. Today, the Sterino family farms almost 400 acres in the Puyallup Valley, plus an additional 100 acres east of the mountains. They closed the Fife location to open Puyallup's, with expanded retail space.Β

Seasonal crops still include raspberries, plusΒ harvests of lettuce, cabbage, beans, celery and sweet corn. In early fall they offer winter squash, gourds, pie pumpkins and carving pumpkins.
If you are on the market for berries this July, ask for "The Unknown Berry,"Β a nameless blackberry variety that grows in Puyallup that is bigger with less seeds than most.
