This Week's Featured Blogger: Laurie Miller

Do you have an opinion, experience, or expertise you'd like to share? We welcome you to blog on Patch, too!

Each week Puyallup Patch will feature our latest and greatest bloggers. Last week we welcomed Tiffany Elliott and Calvin GoingsΒ to our Local Voices section, but this week we chose to feature Laurie Miller, who has blogged on Patch for nearly a year!

Miller, aΒ program manager for the Sumner Downtown Association, recently blogged about the upcomingΒ All You Can Eat Crab and Oyster Stew Feed March 22, hosted by the Puyallup Rotary Club. Proceeds benefit the "Challenge Day" program at all three Puyallup High Schools.

"This award-winningΒ Β program (Challenge Day )brings a cross section of students together for a day to break down barriers and build a strong community," Miller wrote. "School administrators report that the program creates a much-improved student culture, which leads to less bullying, less student violence, and a stronger more cohesive student group."
