Tomato Assault Canceled
Organizers announced on Tuesday that the Tomato Assault has been called off due to lack of tomatoes.
The Tomato Assault is officially a no-go.
Tomato Assault's CEO Brian Hallberg announced on Tuesday that the event has been canceled due to lack of tomatoes.
The event was originally scheduled at the Washington State Fair & Events Center in Puyallup on Saturday, July 13.

The organizers said they will be initiating the process to refund all ticket sales. The event would have raised money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, according to its website.

With deep regrets we are confirming to you that we have been forced to cancel all Tomato Assault events planned this summer and fall due to an unforeseen inability to acquire tomatoes or suitable substitutes. We were truly looking forward to bringing our unique event to your area. Please be assured we have tried every feasible avenue in order to avoid cancellation, and are very disappointed in our inability to go forward with the events.
In the meantime, there are other family-friendly events happening at the Washington State Fair & Events Center in July:
