Van Explodes, Burns In Puyallup Home Depot Parking Lot
One pet died and one person sustained minor burns when a van burst into flames in the South Hill Home Depot parking lot Wednesday afternoon.

PUYALLUP, WA - Central Pierce Fire & Rescue on Wednesday shared dramatic video of a burning van in the South Hill Home Depot parking lot, which ultimately killed one pet and left one person with minor burns. Central Pierce fire investigators are working to determine what caused the blaze.
According to CPF&R officials, crews were dispatched to a vehicle explosion and fire at 303 35th Ave. SE around 2 p.m. March. 6. When crews arrived, they found a fully engulfed van burning near a row of sheds in the parking lot.
The fire was controlled and mostly extinguished by 2:45 p.m.
