1 Dead, 1 Injured After Renton Shooting

RENTON, WA — Renton homicide detectives are investigating after a shooting Wednesday left one man dead and another hospitalized in critical condition. Police said the first reports of a shooting with two victims came in shortly before 3 p.m. and officers found two men with serious gunshot wounds on the 300 block of Wells Avenue North.

In an update shared at 3:30 p.m., the Renton Police Department confirmed one of the men died from his injuries at the scene and medics rushed the second victim to Harborview Medical Center. Details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting and or information about potential suspects was not immediately released.
