RENTON, WA — The Renton Police Department has released surveillance images of two men who detectives believe were involved with a deadly shooting over the weekend. Police said dispatchers fielded multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Wiliams Avenue South.

Officers arriving at the scene found an unconscious man with a gunshot wound and administered trauma care until medics arrived, police said. The victim, identified only as a 34-year-old man from Tacoma, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a news release Sunday, police shared two images showing "persons of interest" in the shooting and asked anyone who recognized them to contact detectives at 425-430-7632, referencing case 22-7005.
