6 Unusual Puget Sound Snowmageddon Moments
An exotic bird, a fishy snowman, and a volcanic feud. These are just a few unusual scenes from Snowmageddon in Puget Sound.

RENTON, WA - Many people in Puget Sound used the weekend Snomageddon (or Snopocalypse) to partake in some pretty standard snow activities: sledding, shoveling, building snowmen, slipping on icy sidewalks.
But then there were the few unusual scenes. From a snow party at a Seattle park complete with a live DJ to a very dangerous sledding stunt, here are some weirder moments from the weekend.
1) We thought this 14-foot tall snowman in Renton might be some kind of record. Not even close, unfortunately.

2) Utility crews working north of Gig Harbor found a snowy peacock perched on a utility pole.
Look what we found on Crescent Valley! Yes, that is a peacock hanging out on the communication lines. We found a tree at 116th and Crescent Valley blocking the road. Still trying to determine where and what the cause of the power outage is out that way once we can get through. pic.twitter.com/k8KcYP9t6s

3) A profane argument broke out between Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. The conversation later turned pornographic. If you're interested, the whole dirty thread is here.

4) The fish-throwing guys at Pike Place Market built some bizarre snowmen using ... fish.
I’ve seen it all now. #SeattleSnowpocalypse #snow I’ve never seen a “Snowman with fish“ @pike_place pic.twitter.com/EZRmaj88B9

5) A post-snow dance party broke out at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle on Saturday afternoon (plus phallic snow sculptures).
Cal Anderson Park was a giant party, complete with music, dancing bananas, happy dogs, Dick’s, and dicks, because Capitol Hill. pic.twitter.com/cBKMQ0p1Ux

6) Plenty of people went sledding over the weekend. Of all the hills in King County, this person chose to sled down a highway overpass in Shoreline.
I've seen a lot of bad ideas, but sledding down a hill next to a major interstate has to be one of the worst... I know for a fact that there are plenty of other hills out there that you can sled down safely. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS! pic.twitter.com/HBI3BkO0gC
