Boeing On Track To Produce 42 Planes Per Month By 2014
Boeing works to accommodate 737 ramp up and increased number of employees.

As 2012 comes to a close, The Boeing Company appears to remain on track to produce 42 planes per month in Renton by the second quarter of 2014.
Evidence of the higher production rate can be seen in Boeing parking lots along Logan Avenue by a proposal to build a parking lot with an additional 567 parking spaces.
Starting January 25, Boeing will increase its production rate from 35 to 38 planes per month by the second quarter of 2013, according to an article in the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The ramp up is underway even as the Renton factory works to add the new 737 MAX model to the mix.
In October 2011 King County Executive Dow Constantine announced the launch of an aerospace alliance aimed to “position King County as the premier location to build and re-engineer the Boeing 737 MAX.”
