Children's Day In Renton: Celebrate At Renton Memorial Stadium
Families are invited down to the stadium Friday afternoon for a drive-thru Dia del Niño celebration.
RENTON, WA — Renton families can celebrate Children's Day at a drive-thru event Friday at Renton Memorial Stadium, complete with costumed characters, dancers and free toys. The celebration, hosted by Centro Rendu and AmeriCorps, is geared toward families with children up to 12 years old.
Friday's fun is part of the annual El Día del Niño celebrations, an annual holiday that started in Mexico in the early 20th century and is now observed across the globe. Every child who attends can expect a special gift before they go.
