Dog Photos, Food Drive Event Coming To The Landing

THE LANDING IN RENTON INVITES THE PUBLIC TO A ‘YOU LUCKY DOG!’ PET FOOD DRIVE AND PET PHOTOS EVENT ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST WHAT:

The Landing in Renton invites the public to a fun-filled, dog-friendly event and pet food drive called “You Lucky Dog!” on Saturday, September 21st, from noon to 2 p.m. During the event, which is FREE and open to the public, pet owners and their dogs can have their photos taken together in a photo booth; all dogs attending the event must be leashed. Heather from Seattle’s Adult Contemporary music radio station WARM 106.9 will be on hand to play music and host fun giveaways, and attendees can register for a chance to win a $250 gift card to PetSmart.

While the event is free to attend, donations of new, unopened cans or bags of pet food are encouraged. Pet food donations from the “You Lucky Dog!” event will benefit Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), an organization dedicated to improving animal welfare in the region. Attendees can drop off pet food donations for the pet food drive during the event or at one of the dog food collection bins throughout the shopping center during the week before the event.
