Early Morning Renton Fire Damages Jericho Home

No injuries are reported from a fire that broke out early this morning.

No injuries were reported as a result of an early morning fire that began in a bedroom of a one-story home at 236 Jericho Avenue NE.

The first engine arrived on scene just after 3a.m. today, six minutes after the initial call, to find smoke and flames coming from the home. Three engines, one ladder truck, one aid unit and two battalion chiefs responded to the call, and contained the fire within fifteen minutes.

Although the house was occupied when the fire began, everyone was able to get outside before the Fire Department arrived.
