Fans Of Apple's iPhone Line Up For 4S In Renton
A steady stream of iPhone 4S buyers filter through the AT&T store at The Landing.
Fans of Apple’s iPhone lined up outside of the at on Friday morning for the newest version: the iPhone 4S.
Similar scenes played out across the country, as reported by CNN.
Jr. Sanchez of Renton joined the queue at 7:30 this morning, but said others in the line arrived as early as 5:30 a.m.

The store opened at 8 a.m. on Friday, two hours earlier than normal, said an employee. A security guard was also on hand, and let customers in one by one for the phones.
AT&T stores across the country opened two or three hours early for the iPhone 4S release, and many are open extended hours. The Renton location will close at its normal time.

Sanchez said he is “super excited” for his new iPhone, which will be an upgrade from his current 3GS model.
At 9:30 a.m., there was still a line of 14 people outside the store, with more eager customers joining the group than people going into the store.
The new phone's release comes shortly after the , Apple Inc. co-founder.
