Troopers said children were riding inside a vehicle when another driver fired several gunshots on the freeway near Tukwila.

TUKWILA, WA — A road rage incident escalated into gunfire Wednesday afternoon on southbound Interstate 5, and a vehicle with children inside was struck several times, according to Washington State Patrol.
Trooper Rick Johnson said some kind of confrontation between the drivers of a Dodge Challenger and Kia erupted in gunfire after the two vehicles entered traffic from the shoulder of southbound Interstate 5, just north of State Route 900 in Tukwila.
Troopers said the Dodge had children on board and was hit multiple times, and the driver fired one shot back through the windshield. Photos posted on social media also showed bullet holes in the vehicle's doors and front grill. Fortunately, no one was injured.
