Highlands Community Association Sponsors One Day of Student Art

The Highlands Community Association is held a Renton Students Art Show at the Highlands Neighborhood Center on May 21, themed "Helping Each Other in Renton."

Dozens of kids brought their art — paintings, photographs, sculpture, you name it.

Attendees enjoyed free pizza, fried chicken and drinks at the inaugural art show. Prizes went to the top three pieces in each of the three groups: elementary, middle, and high school (1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50, 3rd place: $25).
