RENTON, WA — Weekend work scheduled in Renton could bring a few overnight delays for drivers, with up to two northbound lanes closed overnight. The latest round of work is part of the "Renton to Bellevue Widening Express Toll Lanes Project," and is weather dependant. If rain postpones the plan, crews will return on the next dry night, officials said.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, crews will close two northbound lanes on Saturday between Northeast 30th Street and Northeast 44th Street. The work is slated to wrap up by Sunday morning. The off-ramp to Northeast 44th Street will also be closed during the work.

During the closure, crews will begin shifting lanes to realign the off-ramp. Drivers can expect to see signed detours in the area.
