Kent Industrial Building Burns In 2-Alarm Fire, No Injuries
The early morning fire happened at the AAA Welding Company on the 22600 block of 84th Avenue South.

KENT, WA – Tough conditions for crew from Puget Sound Fire early Thursday morning as they fought a two-alarm fire at an industrial building. The fire left the building housing the AAA Welding Company heavily damaged.
The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m..

The fire crews, hearing explosions from inside the building, called a second alarm about 15 minutes later. There were also propane tanks outside the building that were burning,
The smoke drifted over the State Route and affected traffic in the 5 a.m. hour.

The building, almost 40-years-old, did not have sprinklers.
The investigation into the case is underway. There were no reports of injuries.
