King County Mails Ballots For 2022 November General Election
Nearly 1.4 million registered voters should see their ballots by Monday, and officials are projecting that 72 percent will get returned.
RENTON, WA — King County Elections mailed out ballots Wednesday to voters across the region as Washington's 18-day voting period gets underway for the Nov. 8 general election. Nearly 1.4 million registered voters should see their ballots by the weekend, or Monday at the latest.
Elections officials expect roughly 1 million of those ballots will be returned and project 72 percent voter participation in this year's midterms.
New this year in King County are optional text and email alerts, which voters can enable to receive updates on their ballot status through each step of the process until their vote is counted. The alerts also provide another notification route to resolve any issues with their ballot before the deadlines are up.
