Knights Of Columbus Appeals For Hurricane Florence Victims Aid
100% of donations through the Knights of Columbus will help hurricane victims. 44 dead, massive flooding, $38 billion damage, hurting people
The Knights of Columbus are appealing for funds to help Hurricane Florence victims. The hurricane winds crashed into South and North Carolina coasts, and later Virginia, resulting in at least 44 confirmed deaths, massive flooding and power outages affecting nearly a million people. You can help victims by making a secure online donation to the national Knights of Columbus giving page for Hurricane Relief https://www.kofc.org/en/secure...
Torrential rain topped state records in North Carolina where over 30 inches has fallen in areas. Rising rivers are expected to pass historic levels and overflow banks. Livestock, including 3.4 million chickens and turkeys, have been killed. Tens of thousands of homes have been damaged. Nearly 5000 people have already been rescued by emergency responders. Many people have lost everything--there's been an estimated $22 billion in damage. More than 500 roads are impassable. An estimated 20,000 cars have been damaged or destroyed.
