Missing Australian Man Located In Renton
An Australian man who disappeared and missed his flight home from Washington earlier this month was found safe Thursday morning.

RENTON, WA — An Australian man who went missing last week while visiting Western Washington was found safe Thursday morning in Renton, according to police. Investigators said the 68-year-old man disappeared on Oct. 5 after becoming confused at a SeaTac hotel and being treated at Valley Medical Center. He was discharged later in the evening and left the facility on foot.
Investigators said he never returned to his hotel and missed his flight home to Australia, alarming his family. According to KING 5, two of the man's nephews flew to Washington to help organize search parties. Those efforts proved successful Thursday.
"Stanley has been located in Renton," the police department wrote on Twitter. "He is a little dehydrated but doing well considering. Family is with him now at VMC. Thank you to all who assisted in keeping an eye out for Stanley. RPD and his family appreciate your kindness, prayers, and efforts!"
