Mother's Day Activities In Renton

• When/Where: Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Brunch is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Each mom will receive a rose and a $15 Mary Kay gift card from 10 a.m.-noon, plus they'll be entered in to a drawing for a free mani-pedi.

Mother's Day Cabaret to Benefit Vision House

• Why go: Take mom to Aunt Dottie's Mother's Day Cabaret at Renton Civic Theatre. The show is a benefit for Renton's Vision House. This is a family-friendly event.
• Cost: $10 Students/Seniors & $15 Adults

• Why go: Give Mom a Break & share Mom’s life-giving love at Mother’s Day Breakfast sponsored by Knights of Columbus. Menu includes pancakes, tortas, sausages, eggs, juice and beverages. Breakfast proceeds will go to Healing Haiti’s Children by helping to build a lab to fabricate, adjust and fit prosthetics for earthquake victims. Torero’s restaurants are the lead donor for this fundraiser. For those unable to attend the Mother’s Day Breakfast, donations can be made payable to Knights of Columbus Charities (Memo: For Haiti Children) and sent to: Knights of Columbus c/o 13504 181^st Avenue SE Renton, WA 98059.

• Why go: Join the Eagle's for a great Mother's Day breakfast including omelets made to order, three meats, fruit, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, juice, coffee, and a glass of champagne for the adults.

Celebrate Mom! Card-Making Workshop @ happy delusions

• When/Where: Saturday, May 12, noon-4 p.m. at happy delusions, 924 S. 3rd St.
• Why go: Mother's Day Card make and take with Ms. Magoo & Lou. . Ms Magoo & Lou have three lovely cards for you to choose from and all the fun card making supplies to let you get a little creative and unique with it as well.
  After you're done, swing by  for some tea tasting and some sweet eating with Lisa Kin of Theo Dorres Aromatics Tea, and Hazel Lou of Sweet Coconut Bakery.
