New Brewery Coming To Downtown Renton

Dubtown Brewing Company's liquor license application was approved last week.

RENTON, WA - A new brewery will open soon in downtown Renton, the newest in a growing assortment of craft beer pubs popping up in the city.

Dubtown Brewing Company had its liquor license application approved on Jan. 24. The brewery will be located at 201 Main Avenue in a new building near the corner of South 2nd Street. It's unclear when the brewery will open - the website simply says, "Taproom coming soon."

Dubtown will join Four Generals as the second brewery in downtown Renton. But other craft beer hubs in the area include the Berliner Pub, Red House Beer and Wine, and The Hop Garden. There's also Brewmaster's Taproom up the hill from downtown along 108th Avenue. The newly opened craft coffee shop Boona Boona also plans to serve local craft beer.
