Northbound Backups Hit 6 Miles In Renton After I-405 Crash
All northbound lanes of Interstate 405 were temporarily blocked Wednesday afternoon due to a crash near Sunset Blvd.

RENTON, WA — A crash on northbound Interstate 405 slowed traffic near Renton Wednesday afternoon, with backups stretching at least six miles. Wednesday is typically one of the busiest travel days of the Thanksgiving week, and the hours of 4 p.m to 6 p.m. are often among the most congested.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the crash scene was cleared shortly before 3:30 p.m., but delays were expected to continue in the area.
My view right now: No less than 6⃣ electronic highway signs are currently warning drivers about the backups on north I-405 following today's earlier collision near Sunset Blvd. pic.twitter.com/YXMDTWod4t
